We are looking for an energetic professional to join our Energy Wind & Renewables (EWR) team. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for a wide variety of administrative duties in support of meeting the needs of internal and external clients. This includes coordinating and communicating with various parties, answering and referring inbound telephone calls, and maintaining records in accordance with EWR business practices and principles. We are looking for an outgoing and highly organized individual looking to learn and grow within our team and industry. EWR is a full-service wind energy solutions provider offering turnkey installation, maintenance, crane services, project planning, and more to wind farms across North America.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative person to assist PC and Management on a site / project specific location.
- Timesheet maintenance and entry on a daily basis.
- Record keeping and data entry.
- Assisting in onboarding of new employees and registration of their new hire information.
- Shipping and Receiving Packages.
- Collecting data and materials for management.
- Respond to telephone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries from clients and visitors.
- Maintain visitor sign in/out in reception area.
- Receive and distribute all forms of paper correspondence.
- Organize, maintain, and coordinate office documentation into electronic files.
- Collect, organize, submit approval, and enter crane work order information into our system in accordance with business practices and collective agreements.
- Prepare invoicing from work orders and send to customers.
- Administer and manage inbound/outbound mail, which may include priority post, courier services, and other correspondence.
- Arrange travel, organize and collect new hire/termination paperwork.
- Miscellaneous projects as assigned such as inputting and collection information.
- Order office supplies.
- Provide documentation to support operational requirements.
- Assist with other administrative duties as required.

- Strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to participate positively in an engaging culture.
- Must be able to organize and plan tasks, with an ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Must be dependable and committed to ensuring client (internal and external) needs are met.
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Advance proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to research and analyse information.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Asset Qualifications:
- Experience working within our industry.
- Preferential consideration will be given for persons with previous office experience.
