Position: Project Coordinator

EWR Global is looking for a highly capable Project Coordinator to provide assistance in the tracking and reporting of site expenditures and communicate information regarding site scheduling and budgeting. The Project Coordinator will follow specific schedules and procedures including PO procedures, change order processes, and other direct and detailed verbal and written instruction. EWR is a full-service wind energy solutions provider offering turnkey installation, maintenance, crane services, project planning, and more to wind farms across North America.
Key Responsibilities:
- Closely adheres to all safety standards and procedures. Identifies risks and gaps in safety execution in the operational environment and either stops work / escalates or implements defined and appropriate mitigation methods with appropriate oversight. Demonstrates risk-averse safety behavior at all times. Encourages and recognizes others completing safe acts and intervenes when unsafe acts are practiced.
- Attend and participate in Plan of Day meetings with the customer
- Work in Conjunction with the Accounting Department to Manage PO system
- Manage Daily Costs, Job Costs and Job Schedules
- Order materials and supplies from pre-selected vendors
- Coordinate Change Orders
- Track Weather Delays
- Public Speaking and Organizing of Team events
- Update Management Team progress reports
- Provide and Report Daily, Weekly and Monthly summaries
- Contribute to the overall positive team culture of the organization.
- Demonstrates integrity, strong initiative, work ethic, as well as a focus on safety and quality of work on a continuous basis.
- Demonstrates strong customer focus at all times.
- This role will require travel, working extended hours, including working a flexible and variable work schedule as needed to meet business objectives.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
Asset Qualifications:
- Ability to speak, read, comprehend and write in English.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders 60-125 meters in height.
- Comfort working in confined spaces and at heights over 100 meters.
- Ability to successfully participate in all training courses
- Ability to coach and cross train employees
- Regular walking and/or sitting.
- Ability to hear and use close range radios.
- Able to work in demanding physical and inclement weather conditions.
